Warranty

All our base units are covered by an extensive warranty for defects, this is a RTB (Return to Base) warranty meaning in the event of a fault accruing you will have to send the unit back to us. But don’t let this put you off, we can organise a pickup so your computer reaches us safety and quickly. Our technicians will then contact you and keep you updated on the progress of your repair and then return your computer in matter of days depending on fault and parts availability.

Operating System

Most new systems that you purchase from major suppliers you are provided with an operating system that has been kitted out with software that advertises different companies and makes most people purchase "extra" software to protect/use there system. Here at Homenetwork UK LTD we don’t push you into buying software, by preloading community software onto your system you ensure that you get the best software on the market developed by people just like yourself who don’t want to spend a fortune on something that doesn’t work correctly and you pay a lot of money for.

As you may not be aware government legislation means that computers cannot be thrown out and have to be reused. Lets take a bank for this instance, banks have thousands of computers in there Head offices, call centres, and even in the high streets banks. When a bank purchases computers they will buy computers under a lease scheme that after three years they get a new lease. Now the computers that are removed due to the lease renewal are recycled and have to be by law, at this point the computers are fully functional and have many years worth of usage still in them. We then purchase these computers from the owners who the bank leased the computers from, and then get our qualified technicians to Health Check them. We then image them with a standard image we use here at Homenetwork that ensures you get the best tweaked operating system with all the software need to get yourself going and keep you protected from them nasty viruses.

Do i get anything else with my computer?

Your computer comes with standard a UK Power cord, keyboard and mouse. We also will include a bootable system recovery disc that will allow you to recover your operating system if anything happens to it.
